Supplies:
White Scrap Fabric
Empty Plastic Salad Greens Container (or something similar)
Red Felt or Fabric
Needle and Thread (for the buttons, you could also use glue)
Gold or Yellow Yarn
Making the "bib" overlay:
First, grab your white fabric for the bib and lay in out on your button down shirt and cut it to shape. Take 10 of your gold buttons and either glue or and place them on the bib. I opted to sew mine on since they were metal and heavy, but you could totally just glue them on especially if they're plastic.
Then grab your gold yarn and cut 3 long strands then braid them together and tie the ends (or glue them!) around your top bib buttons. On the backside of the bib place 4-6 adhesive velcro circles with the other side of the velcro circle placed directly on the shirt. This part is best done when your model is wearing the shirt so you can make sure it lays right.

Making the collar:
Next for the collar grab your red felt and lay it around the shirts collar and cut it to shape and glue it on the shirt's collar. Then take your gold ribbon and glue it around the edge. (This is totally optional, but I thought it added a fun sparkle!)

Making the shoulder pads:
Lastly for the royal shoulder pads grab your empty large salad/mixed greens container. Cut in half length wise then measure onto your model to get a good fit and cut again width wise. You should have 4 pieces now. (You'll only use 2!). Then grab your red felt and cut and glue it on top. Then take your gold yarn and cut many strands the same length for the fringe. Take your glue and glue each strand on. Lastly, glue a gold button on top of each shoulder pad.
Throw on a pair of black or red slacks (or red long john underwear if your my husband!) and a belt around your waist.
And Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo! You've transformed you (or a friend/family member) into a royal prince!
