Supplies:

Making the striped blue chest lines:

Take your blue felt and cut out the stripes, you can trace out the shape you want using a pencil first if you'd like. Then glue then using tacky glue to your dress or shirt. Gwen already had this yellow sunflower dress so we just repurposed it for her Flounder costume.

Making the sparkle shoulder & waist puffs:

These are totally optional, but I thought they added a fun sparkly touch! I just gathered my sparkle tulle ribbon and accordion folded it into itself and then sewed it onto the dress. You could also hot glue or safety pin it on.

Making the fin:

For this I took the light blue craft paper and glued two sides together so that it was sturdier and then cut it in the shape of Flounder's fin leaving extra paper at the bottom to fold out. Then I took my dark blue craft paper and cut out the stripes for the fin and glued them on. Lastly I took the velcro dots and stuck four on the fin, and stuck the other sides on the back of the dress.
